Dr. Jasmine Gear inherited her love of music from her mother, whose nickname (Songbird) is the inspiration for the name of our dental practice. To us, music therapy means that we're happy to ensure your comfort by providing you with the music that makes you feel relaxed during dental procedures through headphones, or perhaps you might just become the DJ of the operatory for the duration of your procedure!

Dr. Jasmine Gear
Hello, and welcome! I’m Dr. Jasmine Gear, and I’m thrilled to be your trusted dentist. My journey has taken me from Madison, Wisconsin, to Owings Mills, MD, and it has truly been an incredible adventure.
My passion for dentistry began in high school when I spent my summer vacations assisting in my aunt’s private dental practice. It was during those formative years that I discovered my true calling.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology from Southern Connecticut State University in 2013. The following year, I was accepted into the Howard University College of Dentistry, where I began my path toward becoming a dentist. After graduation, I continued my education with a one-year advanced training program in general dentistry at East Carolina University, further refining my skills to provide the best possible care for my patients.
My professional journey then took me to the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard, where I had the privilege of working as the sole practitioner and interim dental director at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. It was an amazing experience that helped me grow both personally and professionally.
In 2021, I returned to Maryland to be closer to my family, where I was appointed Chief Dentist at Access Carroll Integrated Health Center.
As a member of the American Dental Association, I am committed to staying at the forefront of dental care and ensuring that each patient receives the highest-quality treatment in a compassionate and welcoming environment.
When I’m not practicing dentistry, I enjoy listening to audiobooks and true-crime podcasts. Spending time with friends and family is the cherry on top of my life, and I cherish every moment with them.

Dr. Paul Yi
Dr. Paul Yi, a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Dental Surgery (1985), is dedicated to the practice of general dentistry with an emphasis on maintaining excellent long-term oral health.
Dr. Yi firmly believes preventive dentistry offers patients the best path to lasting dental wellness. He dedicates significant time to patient education, helping individuals develop awareness of proper oral care techniques. For patients experiencing anxiety, Dr. Yi provides comfortable options, including laughing gas and anti-anxiety medications, to ensure positive long-term dental experiences.
Beyond his practice, Dr. Yi's true passion lies in dental mission work. Over the past twenty years, he has volunteered his expertise in Honduras, Costa Rica, Chile, Kenya, and Albania, bringing essential dental care to underserved communities. His compassion for those with dental needs continues to drive his commitment to mission work, which he plans to pursue as long as he feels called to serve.
